Description
Description
Sparrows notorious 'OCTO RAKE' - it opens locks!
There's been so many variations on the B-rake that lock pickers are really spoiled for choice when it comes to incredibly effective rakes.
The Octo is one of the best, it's a more gentle pattern that feels really smooth in the lock and doesn't cause the pins to seize up as much as other variations. The OCTO RAKE almost picks the lock for you, with a simple technique of rocking and raking.
The perfect compliment to your 'go-to' pick set.
The Octo rake is made of .025 steel and can be used either way round.
NOTE: The OCTO makes a great companion pick with the Sparrows WORM Rake which you can find HERE. With these two you'll have incredible quick and easy access to many, many pin-cylinder locks.

Great product, even better service. Cannot recommend enough.
Great picks, practice required!
I bought a set of 2 sets of Sparrow lockpicks (one was a gift) and added the Octo rake as well. They are nicely finished and the case holds all the picks and tension levers with enough room to add a few if later. I've wanted to have a go at lockpicking for a while, I've seen it done in the movies and I needed to find out if it was as easy as it seems. It wasn't, but I was pleased that with a bit of practice I picked the filing cabinet lock in my office as well as a few simple padlocks I have about. I've been practising on a few old locks I've been given by a carpenter friend of mine when he upgraded doors. I've picked one, but only once! I'm going to stick with it and keep the locks in the office and tackle them when I have a few minutes to spare. It's very satisfying when the lock moves. I found the guide that followed the order really useful, thanks for that, and there's lots on the internet. Great hobby!
not made well enough for the job
This was advertised as a rake and rocker but it isnt really built for the job IMO. Handle is thin, sharp and uncomfortable and pick is too thin for the job its advertised for. might work on a brand new lock... doesn't on anything thats a little stiff.
