Packaging poor.
I bought this for a friend but thought I would have it shipped to me so I could check the package. Was delivered like something from eBay. The product looks great once it was reboxed but I guess the importance of presentation depends on the buyer but it turned me off especially at the price
Great products, buuuuut...
The cutaway definitely seems good quality and does its job. But I kinda got the lock with spool pins, even though I ordered the standard pin version. The spool pins do give a very different kind of feedback and I still struggle with standard pins and would have wanted to learn those first, so that's a shame. Would order again though, mistakes happen and the quality speaks for itself.
Unpickable!
I don't think it is me because I have had no problem opening many types of lock. I bought this for my wife because she wanted to have a go at picking. I simply cannot get any pins to set properly, tried scrubbing and raking - nothing. Otherwise a good visual demo aid.
Clear Lock
Love my clear lock - used it to teach both myself and my 7 year old daughter how to pick locks. Makes a difference when you can see what pins are setting. Appreciated. Cool price too - nearly bought one elsewhere for a lot more.
