The Dangerfield 8 piece seemed a basic set to try out, they arrived on time and felt well balanced and came with basic forms, my only problem was the sticking when entering a lock, solved by sandpapering the outer coating then applying thin layer of Vaseline to prevent the mild steel rusting. Now work perfectly.. note pencil lead also works as a good lube
Good service, average product
The quality of these picks was fine for the price, obviously they needed a bit of sanding. The main issues were that they are too thick for most key ways, the hook (probably the most important tool in the set) was way too deep for most applications and, whilst solid, the handles are not large enough to get a good purchase on the pick. I think this set needs a bit of a rethink...
My first go to pick set.
Durable picks , melted electrical tape onto the handles , could have done with a couple of tension wrenches, extremely happy.
