Praxis City Rake 0.015
A slim 0.015 inch City Rake for tighter pin-cylinder keyways
The Dangerfield Praxis City Rake in 0.015 inch gauge gives you the classic city-rake profile in a thinner individual pick. It is a useful single-pick upgrade when standard-gauge rakes feel crowded in narrower keyways.

Why buy this
Buy this when you want one thin classic rake
The City Rake is a familiar profile because it teaches rhythm, tension, and keyway feel quickly. This thinner Praxis version is for buyers who already have tension tools and want a slim individual rake rather than another full set.
Thin working gauge
The 0.015 inch profile gives more room in tight or paracentric keyways.
Classic rake movement
City-rake peaks help you practise smooth scrubbing and rocking movement.
Single-pick add-on
Useful when you want to extend an existing Praxis, Serenity, or mixed pick kit.
Use route
How to practise the city-rake feel
Start on a familiar pin-cylinder practice lock with very light tension. Compare this thin rake with a thicker rake on the same lock so you learn when extra keyway room matters.
- Use gentle tension so the slim rake can move freely.
- Avoid levering sideways in tight keyways.
- Follow up with a hook to understand which pins set.
Helpful next step: individual Praxis lock picks.

Questions
Quick answers
Why choose the thin City Rake?
Choose it when a standard rake feels crowded in the keyway.
Is this a complete pick set?
This is one individual Praxis rake, so pair it with tension tools.
Can a newer picker use it?
Yes. Start on a practice lock and use light tension while learning the movement.
What should I pair it with?
Pair it with hooks or a fuller Praxis set when you want single-pin control too.
Add a slim classic rake to your picking kit
For tight keyways and city-rake practice, this individual Praxis pick gives you a focused, low-bulk option.
